Installation Technician

About the role

As an Installation Technician, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality door systems to our customers. Your responsibilities include:

Responsibilities

• Perform service and installation in accordance with manufacturers recommended installation procedures and specifications.
• Document time spent and complete proper documentation detailing job numbers, travel time, any discrepancies, shortages, or inefficiencies in jobsite conditions.
• Maintain proper truck stock and inventory.
• Maintain company vehicle both in appearance and per vehicle maintenance agreement.
• Interface with customer, end-user and general contractor in a courteous professional manner at all times.
• Participate in training programs offered and remain AAADM certified.
• Perform all work in a safe manner for prevention of accidents to themselves, co-workers, contractors on-site and the general public and property of all concerned.

Requirements

• Must meet the minimum age requirement of 21 due to job-related responsibilities.
• Must be able to successfully obtain AAADM certification within one (1) year of employment and maintain certification as required.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with experience in repairing electro-mechanical devices.
• Knowledge of basic electrical circuits and low-voltage (120v) wiring (access control systems a plus).
• Experience in glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• High commitment to safety, customer satisfaction, and teamwork.
• Ability to lift, bend, and use power tools effectively.

Skills

• Electro-mechanical repair skills.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Experience with glazing, storefronts, aluminum frames, and hardware.

Benefits

• Hourly Rate/Salary range: $25-$35 per hour; The final pay rate offered to the successful candidate will depend on education, experience, skill level and other qualifications for the role.
