Installation Technician
About the role
As an Installation Technician, you’ll work independently at our customer’s homes and businesses as a trusted expert, installing the latest technology for high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services. You’ll have the opportunity to meet new people every day while solving problems and being rewarded for doing great work. Whether you’re putting in a new line, climbing a ladder, or simply plugging in and activating a Wi-Fi network, no two days will be the same.
Responsibilities
- Provide seamless installation and activation of state-of-the-art technology, including high-speed broadband, Wi-Fi, and voice services.
- Work independently at customer locations, delivering best-in-class service.
- Install and troubleshoot network equipment, including climbing ladders and working in small spaces or at heights up to 28 ft.
- Identify wire and cable colors.
- Be available for overtime, emergency call-outs, and holiday work.
Requirements
- Work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
- Possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Lift and move up to 60 lbs (some ladders weigh 50-60 lbs).
- Weigh less than 325 lbs for ladder safety.
- Qualify on a pre-employment assessment.
Pay
Our Installation Technicians earn between $17.26 and $31.00 an hour, with an average starting salary of $64,480 per year.
Schedule
- Full-time: 40 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, overtime, emergency call-outs, and holiday work.
