About the role
As the Installation Manager, you will report to the Operations Manager and be responsible for overseeing and managing the installation of replacement windows, siding, and doors in your assigned market area. You will ensure that both the work completed and customer satisfaction meet or exceed company standards.
Responsibilities
- Recruit, select, train, and manage direct reports
- Perform Services & Measures as necessary
- Select, monitor, and validate 1099c installation crews; document and maintain skill matrix
- Process install pay
- Manage warehouse operations, including maintaining adequate inventory of installation materials and scheduled warehouse auditing
- Serve as customer service liaison for install-related problems
- Work with scheduling coordinators to ensure appropriate crew assignments
- Oversee job sites to ensure quality installs; attend remeasurement appointments when necessary
- Conduct quality job inspections and audits to ensure crew performance meets the highest standards
- Deliver materials to job sites when required
- Approve additional costs on job sites
- Manage run rates & guild quality scores
- Manage install jobs through completion
- Review sold projects to ensure all indirect materials are identified, ordered, and received prior to the day of install
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of relevant leadership experience
- 4+ years of general construction knowledge
- 3+ years of customer issue resolution experience
- 1+ years of experience with windows, including measuring, service, or installation
- Experience working with installation crews
- Valid driver’s license
- Clean driving record, clean criminal background check, and clean drug test
Preferred Qualifications
- College degree or other secondary education
- Experience with warehouse management
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Expertise in CRMs; Salesforce experience a plus
- Customer-centric mindset
- Demonstrated success in deadline-driven and high-pressure environments
