Installation Manager
About the role
The Installation Team Manager oversees and manages the Closet America Installation team, focusing on cost and scheduling. Key responsibilities include:
- Managing installers to ensure scope of work is clear and defined, appropriate labor and materials are defined for job completion, and work is performed according to Closet America’s standards and specifications.
- Developing projections and leveraging resources based on business needs.
- Working with Customer Service to optimize scheduling to meet revenue goals.
- Assessing projects with special circumstances that can impact resourcing.
- Maintaining reports of time to completion and first-time completion rate.
- Managing and resolving escalated issues and addressing customer concerns as needed.
- Assessing installer performance, processing payroll, and calculating bonuses.
- Collaborating with Installation Process Manager in team skills assessment and ongoing training of staff, identifying appropriate training resources to fill skill gaps.
- Coordinating logistics of daily morning roll-out, ensuring product and documentation is complete.
- Completing weekly progress reports for Management encompassing installation, service, and quality assurance.
- Monitoring and scheduling vehicle maintenance and repairs.
- Conducting Installer ride-along and quality audits.
- Supporting Installation Process Manager as required.
Requirements
Key qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or other related field.
- 5 years management experience and 2 years’ experience installing closets or related home improvement products.
Qualifications
Any equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable.
