About the role
The Installation Manager implements design drawings, device schedules, and submittals based on customer bids produced by our Pre-Sales Engineering department. This role involves ensuring product compatibility with existing site conditions and covers multiple aspects of CCTV, Access Control, IP Intercom, Intrusion, and Network knowledge.

- 10% Pre-Sales Quoting
- 20% Field Engineering
Responsibilities
- Oversees technical integration of security solutions to be installed by internal/contractor teams
- Provides on-site support for field installation challenges
- Creates detailed drawings and product submittals for general contractor review
- Produces post-installation as-built drawings
- Reviews pre-sales approved proposals prior to field deployment
- Serves as technical support liaison with manufacturers to resolve field installation issues
- Collaborates with Pre-Sales Engineering to implement customer goal requirements
- Coordinates and establishes relationships with integrators and manufacturers
- Works with the project management team to resolve technical/scheduling conflicts
- Provides technical training for installation teams on new technologies
- Conducts on-site visits for Pre-Sales when required (10% of the role)
- Collaborates with general contractors during the rough-in phase to address all security-impacted disciplines
Systems include, but are not limited to: Genetec, S2, Honeywell, Verkada, Kantech, Bosch, Axis, Milestone, Avigilon-Alta, Brivo-EE, and Assa-Abloy.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to lift/carry 25-50 lbs. frequently
- Experience using software-driven technologies to improve installation team workflows
- Industry experience with installation of building materials (preferred)
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
Skills
- Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret design drawings
- Ability to determine appropriate technologies for field installation teams
