About the Role

As an Installation Manager, you will lead and manage all aspects of installation operations. This includes overseeing Installation Technicians, coordinating multiple projects each month, and ensuring timely equipment ordering and release. You will manage project schedules in collaboration with end-user customers and ensure all activities align with company goals under the guidance of the Operations Leader or District Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage all Installation Technicians' activities.
  • Manage multiple installation projects each month, including ordering and releasing all equipment via the factory and customer service.
  • Coordinate all scheduling of projects with the end-user customer.
  • Meet established goals and growth objectives under the direction of the Operations Leader or District Manager.
  • Supervise and delegate responsibilities to Administrative personnel (scheduling, ordering, install coordination).
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end-users in the healthcare and retail segments, as well as general contractors, sub-contractors, architects, and suppliers.
  • Maintain communication with the factory regarding backlog and job release (Work In Progress).
  • Interact with the Sales Department on a continual basis to determine proper labor hours and margins on projects.
  • Review projections and forecast reports frequently.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma (required); AA, BA, or BS preferred.
  • Team approach with effective communication skills to successfully work with other departments.
  • Prior experience directly managing/supervising Field Technicians in the Door Automation/Construction Industry.
  • Background in the successful planning and completion of contracted jobs in the Construction Industry.
  • Prior experience supervising Administrative personnel in scheduling, ordering, and coordinating installation activities.
  • Flexibility to work a varying schedule (different hours of the day and weekends if necessary).
  • Prior experience installing electromechanical products is desired.
  • Exceptional communication (written/verbal) skills.
  • Proven hands-on experience developing relationships with General Contractors and End-Users across Retail, Healthcare, Government, and additional sectors, as well as sub-contractors.
  • Proven experience dealing with vendors and suppliers in the proper ordering and timely supply of products.
  • Ability to read and interpret construction specifications and drawings.
  • Experience in establishing monthly forecasting and results.
  • Computer experience in Microsoft Office and Baan.
