Position: Installation Project Coordinator

Location: Annapolis, MD (In-Office)

Type: Full-Time

Total Comp Opportunity: $56,000 – $75,000 (Base + monthly performance bonus)

Chesapeake Electric is growing rapidly, and we are looking for an exceptionally organized, process-minded operational quarterback to take total ownership of our residential installation projects from the moment they are sold through final inspection and closeout.

To be clear: This is not a field electrician role nor is it a passive, traditional administrative support role.

This is a high-ownership operational project coordination position for someone who loves creating order out of chaos, connecting the dots, anticipating problems, and making sure every detail comes together at exactly the right time.

What You Will Own:

  • The Handoff: Review newly sold projects, identify missing or conflicting info early, and lead communication across teams eliminate preventable errors.
  • The Logistics: Coordinate with warehouse on material orders and deliveries, submit and track permit applications with local jurisdictions, and coordinate subcontractors.
  • The System: Maintain flawless project tasks, notes, and status updates in ServiceTitan (experience here or with platforms like Monday.com, Procore, or Jobber is highly preferred).
  • The Finish Line: Schedule inspections promptly and track each project through final closeout.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring breakdowns and improve the process to make a valuable impact on the quality of our technicians and customers lives.

You May Be a Great Fit If You Are the Person Who...

  • Notices the one missing detail everyone else overlooked.
  • Naturally creates lists, trackers, reminders, and repeatable workflows.
  • Feels personally responsible for seeing commitments through to completion.
  • Does not assume something is handled—you verify it.
  • Can manage dozens of active projects simultaneously without losing sight of the next required action.
  • Communicates early when something is at risk rather than waiting until a deadline is missed.
  • Enjoys investigating why something went wrong and fixing the system behind it.

Transparent, Performance-Based Compensation

We believe people should have a clear opportunity to earn more when they produce excellent results. In addition to your base compensation, you will be eligible to earn monthly bonuses through a straightforward operational scorecard. This bonus structure is transparent, process-driven, and designed to reward consistent operational excellence in key areas you directly influence:

  • Project Readiness & Logistical Accuracy: Ensuring materials, permits, and schedules are locked in before the crew rolls, minimizing last-minute disruptions.
  • Pipeline Momentum & Closeout Speed: Keeping completed jobs moving efficiently into the inspection and final closeout phases rather than letting them sit.
  • Process Improvement: Actively collaborating with sales and field leadership to strengthen handoffs and eliminate repeatable errors.
