About the role
This position reports to the Install Design Manager and will be based out of San Diego, CA.
Responsibilities
- Aid the Install Design team with designing for clients with home and commercial installations.
- Create floor plans, elevation views, electrical plans, low voltage plans, and backing requirements with notations.
- Generate realistic to scale renderings of golf simulator designs.
- Use Live Home 3d Pro, Keynote, SketchUp, and other desktop applications to design 3D room layouts for golf simulators.
- Show a basic understanding of golf and/or golf swing.
- Have knowledge of basic construction skills, be handy, and possess problem-solving abilities.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customer representatives, and private home-owners.
- Show excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, customer representatives, and private home-owners.
- Show good organizational, analytical, planning, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
- Be available for travel for training installation purposes, local or destination.
Requirements
- Experience with AV and PC products and onsite installations is preferred but not required.
- Experience with Slack and Monday.com is preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Must be computer skilled in Mac and/or Windows/PC for 3D room designs for golf simulators.
- Must have a basic understanding of golf and/or golf swing.
- Must have good organizational, analytical, planning, problem solving, and strategic thinking skills.
Skills
- Experience with CAD, Vizio, and Revit is acceptable if the candidate can export to their standards.

Pay
The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
