About the Role

As an Install Apprentice at Clarks Heating & Cooling in Dickson, TN, you will play a vital role in supporting the installation of residential and light commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Responsibilities

• Aid lead installers with residential and light commercial HVAC installations for both retrofit and new construction projects.
• Help prepare and organize tools, equipment, and materials for daily installation jobs.
• Support shop operations by maintaining inventory, organizing materials, and preparing equipment.
• Rotate between the shop, rough-in crews, and change-out teams to gain hands-on experience in every aspect of HVAC installation.
• Assist with testing and inspecting newly installed HVAC systems to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate professionally with team members and customers throughout the installation process.
• Continue learning HVAC installation techniques, tools, and best practices through on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials safely.
• Ability to work in attics, crawl spaces, rooftops, and various weather conditions.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
• Must be dependable and able to work well as part of a team.
