About the role
Visually inspect simple and complex assemblies and component parts for material quality, fit, finish, and all required dimensions. Use precision instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, steel tape, moisture meters, and desiccator testers.
Responsibilities
- Visually inspect assemblies and parts for quality, fit, finish, and dimensional accuracy.
- Operate measurement tools including micrometers, dial indicators, steel tape, moisture meters, and desiccator testers.
- Read and interpret blueprints and basic geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) symbols.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- One year of work experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T symbols.
- U.S. citizenship required due to the nature of work performed within our facilities.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance at time of hire.
Pay
Target salary range: USD $23.41 per hour.
