Responsibilities

  • Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures.
  • Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.
  • Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
  • Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
  • Inspect products using various inspection gages, scales, and visual inspection prior to product shipment.
  • Use of hand tools.
  • Complex geometric layout inspection using standard variable gaging and relative mathematics.
  • Verification of certifications and testing of incoming raw materials.
  • Function as Designated Quality Representative for various customers to release products for shipment.
  • Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and other surface irregularities.
  • Compare product with applicable parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.
  • Verify dimensional compliance of all products with drawing and customer requirements.
  • Perform in-process inspection and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical and process related requirements.
  • Process understanding to ensure final acceptance/compliance.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 1-3 years relevant experience in quality assurance manufacturing.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies.
  • Knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure end products comply with customer requirements.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
