Responsibilities
- Perform calibration of hand tools per documented procedures.
- Conduct inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments such as calipers and Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform accurate measurements.
- Analyze inspection results and document findings in accordance with established procedures.
- Implement and maintain quality assurance protocols, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC practices.
- Inspect products using various inspection gages, scales, and visual inspection prior to product shipment.
- Use of hand tools.
- Complex geometric layout inspection using standard variable gaging and relative mathematics.
- Verification of certifications and testing of incoming raw materials.
- Function as Designated Quality Representative for various customers to release products for shipment.
- Examine material or product for surface defects such as cracks, pits, and other surface irregularities.
- Compare product with applicable parts list or sample model to ensure completion of assembly.
- Verify dimensional compliance of all products with drawing and customer requirements.
- Perform in-process inspection and testing of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with all applicable mechanical and process related requirements.
- Process understanding to ensure final acceptance/compliance.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
- 1-3 years relevant experience in quality assurance manufacturing.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of quality assurance principles, including HACCP, CGMP, and QA/QC methodologies.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing process to ensure end products comply with customer requirements.
- Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments such as calipers and CMM.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
