Inspection Project Engineer / Administrator

About the role

This full-time position requires a strong foundation in engineering design principles and concepts, strong communication skills, and familiarity with PRHTA design standards, plan preparation procedures, roadway geometrics, and roadside safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the production of plans for transportation-related projects from preliminary to final design, including specifications, cost estimates, and final bid packages.
• Work proactively and resourcefully as part of a team of engineers and designers on projects throughout Puerto Rico.
• Be present at the designated office or job site as required.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-5 years of engineering-related experience is preferred.
• EIT Certification (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of Civil 3D and AutoCAD is preferred.
• Ability to learn and apply engineering concepts.
• Roadway geometric design and plans production knowledge is preferred.
