Inside Service Sales

About the role
As Inside Service Sales, you will support the Sales Team in executing and achieving sales and project management objectives through extensive interaction with sales members, national accounts, and suppliers.
Responsibilities
- Assist the sales team in executing and achieving sales and project management objectives.
- Engage with Sales members, national accounts, and suppliers via phone and email.
- Understand basic HVAC systems, components, and equipment.
- Solicit proposals from equipment suppliers and subcontractors, and follow up as needed.
- Assist with proposal writing, submittal generation and tracking, purchase order generation, and order tracking.
- Assemble booking packages and book projects in ERP+.
- Maintain service sales folders.
- Write and distribute purchase orders.
- Maintain tracking of sales and opportunities in the CRM.
- Actively participate in Sales Meetings.
- Collaborate with peers to share best business practices.
- Comply with all company operating policies, procedures, and safety programs.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or business administration is preferred.
- Relevant technical experience, preferably in Facilities Management or Operations and Maintenance.
- Strong customer presentation skills and demonstrated sales aptitude.
- Proficiency in MS Office, with strong Excel skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
Skills
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems, components, and equipment.
- Experience with proposal writing, submittals, and purchase orders.
- Familiarity with CRM and ERP+ systems.
Physical Demands
- Must be able to climb ladders, lift and carry 50+ pounds, and work in confined spaces.
- Work may involve heights and exposure to seasonal temperature extremes.
- Proper use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required.
