Inside Sales Support

About the role

Cash-Wa Distributing, a proud division of Performance Food Group (PFG), is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Customer Service / Inside Sales Support Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you'll serve as a key point of contact for customers and sales representatives, ensuring accurate order processing, exceptional customer service, and seamless account support.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Process customer orders accurately and efficiently via phone and email
• Maintain customer account information, order guides, pricing, and product details
• Resolve customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner
• Cook with sales representatives, transportation teams, and internal departments regarding orders, deliveries, and product availability
• Support outside sales associates in managing and growing customer accounts
• Generate reports, document customer interactions, and process customer credits
• Balance customer needs with company policies while providing effective solutions
• Aid with product recall communications and coordination
• Cross-train to support the Will Call Desk as needed
• Contribute to team success through collaboration and continuous improvement

Requirements

• 1+ year of customer service, sales support, call center, or account support experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent data entry and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Able to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math and problem-solving skills
• Able to work a rotating Sunday schedule (approximately once every four weeks)
• Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening

Qualifications

• Experience in foodservice distribution, wholesale distribution, logistics, or supply chain industries
• Previous order entry or inside sales support experience
• Preferred qualifications include experience supporting business-to-business (B2B) customers
