Inside Sales and Support
About the role
This person will be responsible for configuring application and control systems to meet customers' needs. They will interact with customers via phone, email, and in person to understand their application and control needs. Once the needs are understood, they will configure and quote a system. After finalizing the configuration, they will ensure the customer has the necessary support during installation and implementation of the SurePoint system. They will also support and interact with the territory sales staff to create a seamless customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Configure and quote application and control systems based on customer needs
- Ensure customer support during installation and implementation of the SurePoint system
- Support and interact with the territory sales staff to create a seamless customer experience
- Provide support for SurePoint products, predominantly by phone and occasionally making a field service call
- Gain significant knowledge about agronomic practices, farm equipment, and SurePoint products
- Navigate SurePoint's business management platform, Microsoft Dynamics GP, and Microsoft CRM efficiently and accurately
Requirements
- Possess and acquire significant knowledge about agronomic practices, farm equipment, and SurePoint products
- Experience in current crop production practices and equipment is preferred
- Technical and mechanical aptitude as an indicator of the ability to acquire the required knowledge
