About the role
The Inside Sales Specialist supports the Sales Team by assisting with the quoting process, new customer on-boarding, and order management. They also provide post-sales support and work to minimize supply chain shortages.
Responsibilities
- Aid in the quoting process for new sales opportunities.
- Assist in new customer on-boarding, setup, and order creation.
- Review customer orders to ensure alignment with quotes, requirements, terms, and conditions, and quality clauses.
- Provide customers with order confirmations and proforma invoices as needed.
- Navigate emails to facilitate timely and focused communication on order status with both Sales and customers.
- Communicate with customers and internal departments to ensure all needs are understood and addressed.
- Maintain positive relationships with existing and future accounts through impeccable customer service and product knowledge.
- Offer post-sales support for the Sales team and customers on order issues and expeditures.
- Work the backlog with Planning to minimize or avoid supply chain shortages.
- Optimize revenue at quarter end by working on risk backlogs, clearing holds, and addressing logistics issues.
Requirements
- College degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, or Communications.
- Minimum 2-3 years of Customer Service, Inside Sales, or Account Management experience.
- Experience in electronics distribution is a plus.
