Inside Sales Specialist

About the role
As a part of our Service Inside Sales Team, you will play a crucial role in providing world-class support to Laboratory and Industrial customers. Service Inside Sales Representatives primarily support the Field Sales organization by nurturing inbound requests and leads, as well as actively prospecting to create field-organized visits within high-target accounts. This role requires dynamic skills to work with marketing, field, and management teams to better serve customer needs, which results in higher sales revenue.
Responsibilities
- Creating certificates accurately and on time while communicating quality issues to the sales team
- Supporting customers through the sales cycle from quote to close for Laboratory and Industrial equipment
- Managing inbound requests and leads through the Service Quoting inbox, calls, emails, and mt.com inquiries
- Routing and submitting leads correctly for Sales Representative follow-up and external pursuit
- Providing accurate reference quotes for products, services, and solutions
- Maintaining CRM data integrity and ensure records are accurate and up to date
- Supporting sales representatives with quoting, nurturing, and lead management to help meet targets
- Communicating updates and trends to team lead and senior management
- Applying product and service knowledge to help solve customer needs
- Making sound decisions and involving Accounting, Sales, or Marketing when needed on discounts and special terms
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent work experience
- 2–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, and/or marketing
- Strong willingness to learn products and sell service contracts
- Ability to communicate product knowledge, differentiate from competitors, and solve customer problems
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport quickly
- Inbound or outbound call center experience or sales development experience preferred
- SAP CRM experience preferred
