About the role
The role is for someone who is naturally gifted at selling but struggles with believing in the current product they're selling. Ideal candidates are persuasive, passionate about the pharmaceutical industry, and seek to sell products used to manufacture lifesaving drugs.
Responsibilities
- Contact existing, inactive, and prospective customers in the pharmaceutical, biotech, microelectronics, and chemical industries.
- Manage existing business and generate new sales through outgoing calls.
- Recommend products and applications to identified markets.
- Proactively contact customers and prospects via phone to gather information and increase sales.
- Handle general sales channel customers and grow the business through inbound/outbound sales.
- Generate and provide pricing and quotes to customers.
- Seek and establish strong customer relationships, build customer solutions, and close sales with new customers.
- Collaborate with and leverage internal and external sales, technical, and service partners to build the opportunity pipeline and close sales.
Requirements
- A technical degree or equivalent experience in a science or technical field is required.
- 5-10+ years of technical sales experience is preferred.
- Strong telephone, email, and video conferencing skills are essential.
- Experience with business software applications such as MS Outlook Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel), and virtual communication tools is required.

- Passion for the pharmaceutical industry and products used to manufacture lifesaving drugs.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and customer relationship management skills.

Pay
The base pay scale for this role is $70,500 - $80,000. Actual pay may vary depending on experience.

This is an on-site role based out of Meissner's headquarters in Camarillo, CA.
