Responsibilities

  • Engage with new and existing customers to understand their needs
  • Educate customers on our full lineup of products and services
  • Proactively reach out to prospects and follow up on leads
  • Collaborate closely with outside sales, parts, and service teams
  • Use your knowledge of John Deere and competitive equipment to recommend solutions
  • Support customers with technology, equipment upgrades, and operation-improving tools
  • Stay informed on incentive programs, promotions, and financing options

Requirements

  • Knowledge of current agricultural issues
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and some weekends
  • Able to safely operate, mount/dismount, hook up, secure, and transport equipment
  • Able to sit, stand, squat, and lift up to 40 lbs
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer service skills
  • Strong math and computer skills

Qualifications

  • Preferred (but not required): A few years of account management or direct sales experience (especially ag equipment)
  • Bachelor's degree in business or an agricultural field
  • Willingness to train motivated candidates with the right mindset

Pay
