Inside Sales Representative II

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative II (ISR) position at Calgon Carbon | A Kuraray Company is part of a growing team dedicated to ensuring the safety of air and water through the provision of safe products and services.

Responsibilities

• Answer technical questions from customers, prospects, and consultants with support from Application Engineers, Field Services, or Product Managers
• Recommend specific products and services as solutions to purification challenges
• Handle 800 number calls and web inquiries of a technical nature
• Quote and sell equipment, activated carbon, and service to all types of industrial and food accounts
• Provide well-qualified sales leads to Technical Sales Representatives (TSR)
• Aid Technical Sales Representatives (TSR) with bid packages and inquiries when needed
• Assist with coordinating certain activities, such as trade show coordination and call out campaigns

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university in Engineering or a related science field is required
• 2-3 years of technical sales experience is required
• Experience in sales or Calgon Carbon technical experience is preferred
