Inside Sales Representative (Full Time), San Antonio, TX

About the role

The Inside Sales Representative based in San Antonio, TX, provides superior service to customers throughout the San Antonio and Austin, TX area. This position includes assisting customers by phone and in person, using the computer system to provide information on price and availability, order processing, warehouse operations, and manufacturer/vendor contact for factory orders.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers by phone and in person (for walk-in traffic/counter sales)
• Use the computer system to provide information on price and availability
• Order processing and related customer assistance
• Handle stock orders, process special orders, present promotions, handle customer returns, and related tasks
• Conduct warehouse operations including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping
• Contact manufacturers/vendors for factory orders

Requirements

• Self-driven and hardworking
• 1 to 3 years Inside Sales/ Customer Service experience (distribution industry preferred)
• Strong computer skills
• Experience with MS Office products (Word, Excel)
• Strong verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
• Team player

Key Working Relationships

The successful candidate will report to the Branch Manager at IDN-San Antonio and will work closely with other staff members and the local Outside Sales representative.
