About the role
This position contributes to the development and implementation of innovative diagnostic solutions for food safety and environmental health.Responsibilities
- Develop and validate new diagnostic tests for food and environmental pathogens.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and execute product testing protocols.
- Contribute to the research and development of novel diagnostic technologies.
- Support regulatory submissions and ensure compliance with relevant guidelines.
- Write technical reports and present findings to internal stakeholders and clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., microbiology, biochemistry, molecular biology).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in diagnostic development or related field.
- Strong understanding of PCR, ELISA, and other molecular diagnostic techniques.
- Experience with laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- PhD in a related field preferred.
- Experience with regulatory affairs and clinical trials.
- Knowledge of One Health principles and their application in diagnostics.
Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with statistical analysis software (e.g., R, Python).
- Understanding of quality control and validation methodologies.
