Key Responsibilities

  • Enter customer orders based on schedules and forecasts
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers
  • Maintain extensive internal and external customer contact
  • Release finished goods in accordance with customer needs
  • Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
  • Manage charge backs and related issues
  • Collaborate effectively as a team player while also being able to work independently
  • Focus on developing and building strong customer relationships
  • Cross-train to provide coverage for team members during absences
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Previous inside sales experience within the steel processing industry (preferred)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for order entry and customer management
  • Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer service
