Key Responsibilities
- Enter customer orders based on schedules and forecasts
- Provide accurate and timely quotes to customers
- Maintain extensive internal and external customer contact
- Release finished goods in accordance with customer needs
- Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries
- Manage charge backs and related issues
- Collaborate effectively as a team player while also being able to work independently
- Focus on developing and building strong customer relationships
- Cross-train to provide coverage for team members during absences
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Previous inside sales experience within the steel processing industry (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in using computer systems and software for order entry and customer management
- Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to customer service
