Position Summary
The Inside Sales Representative (ISR), supporting Solutions Consultants, introduces product offerings throughout the sales process, ensuring quality and excellent customer service to increase sales and profits.
Roles and Responsibilities/ Essential Functions
- Quote and process orders for high-end solutions, including phone systems, network and servers, virtualization, etc.
- Work closely with vendors/manufacturers to negotiate discounts and pricing.
- Manage the sales, service, and support cycles from start to finish to ensure all quoted products and services are delivered and installed as expected.
- Partner with internal resources for scheduling services and product delivery.
- Achieve individual sales goals based on account load and line of business.
- Achieve monthly sales goals for the assigned sales team.
- Gather and coordinate information from clients to plan and schedule meetings and projects.
- Act as the liaison between Accounting and Solutions Consultants for handling collection issues, order questions, service block follow-ups, missing signatures, and other problem situations.
- Collect and process customer paperwork, such as credit applications, signed terms, labor blocks, etc.
- Identify new opportunities within existing customer solutions and communicate them to the appropriate solutions consultants.
- Handle basic issues and refer more complex problems to higher-level staff.
- Provide suggestions for improving sales support processes and foster a collaborative team environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience/Skills
- Bachelor’s Degree or 4+ years proven experience in Sales or Administrative Support roles.
- High level of attention to detail, aptitude to learn, and ability to multitask and manage multiple projects.
- Proficiency in using computers and Microsoft Office software.
Preferred Education/Experience/Skills
- 2+ years prior Sales or Inside Sales experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in the IT industry.
- Completed Cisco or Microsoft certifications or exams.
