Cordova Bolt, Inc. is a distributor/Importer of standard and metric fasteners, including F3125 (A325)/F2280 (A490) button head tension control Bolts, A325/A490 hex head structural bolts, F436 flat washers, F959 direct tension indicator washers, F1554 graded rod, headed anchor bolts and other specialty products to print.
Responsibilities
- Provide customers/prospects/contacts with product information and technical support
- Provide rapid response to requests for quote and communicate pricing structure
- Update job knowledge by studying new product descriptions and participating in educational opportunities
- Enter orders consistent with customer specifications and track fulfillment process to completion
- Work with purchasing to coordinate pricing and product lead times for non-stock items
- Answer phones and emails with proper business etiquette
- Maintain confidentiality of customer and company data
- Develop new contacts in customer database via cold-calling & generating new leads
- Work with manager on a continual basis to achieve performance goals
- Participate in continuous improvement projects as needed
- Accomplish department and organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
- Maintain professionalism and communication to maintain customer and vendor relationships
- Model company culture reflecting positivity and core values in all actions
- Represent Cordova Bolt, Inc. in a positive and professional manner and maintain excellent customer service
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 2-4 years sales experience in industrial sales, preferably in the fastener industry
- Proven track record of growing business through successful long-term relationships with key customers and core suppliers
- Strong proficiency in clear and concise interpersonal and communications skills
- Basic computer skills including experience with Quoting, and Order Management is required. Basic to Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Outlook, Word, and Excel)
- Proven experience in opportunity qualification, pre-call planning, call control, account development, and time management
- Ability to work and to interact with customers and employees while demonstrating tact, sensitivity, discretion and professionalism
- Strong keyboarding and proofreading skills that result in minimal errors
- You must be a US citizen or Permanent Resident

- While performing duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger; reach with hands and arms; and operate a computer.
- May frequently be required to stand; walk; kneel, bend and twist
- Requires the ability to lift products and supplies, up to 49 pounds

Base salary: $20/hr - $22/hr plus commission
