Inside Sales Representative
About the role
The Inside Sales Representative plays a crucial role in guiding innovation forward for over 220,000 leading technology manufacturers and service providers. They manage customer relationships, maximize margins, and drive value-added solutions. This position requires 2-4 years' experience in electronics distribution, with a preference for experience in passive electronics component sales.
Responsibilities
- Manage the overall account relationship by providing strategic service and support to the assigned customer base.
- Maximize margins, gain market share, and drive value-added solution selling.
- Work with internal and external resources to provide customer service, facilitate the work of others in quoting, fulfilling demand, ensuring on-time delivery of orders, providing engineering support, and troubleshooting other customer problems.
- Function as a key liaison between suppliers and customers to build and establish long-term business partnerships for Arrow.
- Develop and manage customer strategy in assigned account territory.
- Sell and drive solutions selling within the approved account level strategy.
- Own the customer interface for backend Quality processes: corrective actions and field Quality Reports.
- Own and maintain Perfect Order Index (POI) and inventory integrity to minimize write-offs/billbacks.
- Own the customer interface for important Credit and Financial Information and coordinate all available resources and support functions.
- Set strategy for the quote process, coordinate resources, and process customer quotations (Quote Center, Quote Cover Sheet, PM Views, Management, FSR, Suppliers, Value Add, and SSG).
- Negotiate pricing and Quote markup (owns strategy and application).
- Notify the customer of all/any price increases.
Requirements
- 2-4 years' experience in electronics distribution.
- Experience in passive electronics (IP&E) component sales strongly preferred (Power Supplies, Cable assemblies, Thermal, Connectors, Magnetics, Capacitors/Resistors).
- Systems savvy, ability to adapt quickly.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Macros, etc.) a plus.
- The ability to build influential relationships.
- The ability to work collaboratively with internal and external resources to generate results.
- Strong communication, negotiating, and organization skills.
- Strong customer service and sales skills.

Pay
The salary posted is base pay only (on target OTE will be 90k+). The actual compensation offer to candidate may vary from the posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level.
Schedule
This position will follow a hybrid schedule of 3 days in our office (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays) and 2 days per week from home.
