Sales Representative

About the role

This is a full-time permanent position located in Stafford, TX.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and expand relationships with current customers and our outside sales team.
  • Determine and provide solutions for customers' process flow control and instrumentation needs.
  • Impact customer satisfaction, retention, and sales results directly.
  • Sell company products and services to customers by processing orders, price inquiries, providing technical and application information, soliciting customer orders, and suggesting additional products.
  • Process orders, customer returns, and returns to vendors accurately and timely.
  • Negotiate pricing and delivery with vendors when necessary.
  • Work closely with Outside Salesmen to solicit business, execute order transactions, and maintain superior customer service levels.
  • Maximize gross margin by ensuring FCX gets paid for superior service, problem-solving, and technical expertise.
  • Review open customer order reports and take action on open items, especially those at risk of missing promised delivery dates.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
  • 1-3+ years’ experience in Customer Service related Industry preferred.
  • Experience in an Inside Technical Sales/Customer Service role with an Industrial Distributor a plus.
