Inside Sales Engineer with Erdmann Corporation

Responsibilities

• Process all orders through Epicor ERP system.
• Make day-to-day decisions related to pricing and overall customer care within company’s established parameters.
• Cook up and communicate regularly with outside salespeople to fully develop accounts within designated sales territory.
• Interact with customers on-site at times.
• Aid customers in selecting products based on project needs through various applications, prepare quotations, and follow-up on status.
• Show a comprehensive understanding of technical products that may include but are not limited to concepts of pressure and flow.
• Diagnose and interpret problems customers may encounter.

Requirements

• Attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work independently or with a team are essential for success in this role.
• A results-driven personality is a plus.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to use moderately complex terminology and concepts, are required.
• A bachelor's degree in a technical field (electrical, engineering, etc.) or equivalent work experience is a bonus.
• Technical aptitude and strong mathematical ability are required.
• The ideal candidate will have the ability to interface with customers to fully understand their needs and maintain open communication with both internal and external partners to ensure all customer needs are met.
