About the role
The Inside Sales Engineer supports the sales team with product sales and conducts water sample testing to determine client needs. This role requires a strong understanding of Filtra-Systems products and expertise in consulting and advising clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of products and customer base
- Manage bag filter product proposal process, quoting, and sales
- Support e-commerce sales process and optimize it
- Conduct intensive water sample testing to determine client needs
- Interview potential customers to understand their needs
- Solve problems and provide consulting advice to improve clients' businesses
- Support spare parts department with responding to client requests
- Stay updated on industry trends and travel as needed for customer visits and trade shows
- Lead and participate in trade-show seminars
- Create and perform sales presentations
- Follow up on new opportunities
- Aid in keeping the website and sales media current
- Ensure safety in the workplace and report unsafe conditions
- Participate in self-development and follow company policies
Qualifications
- Chemical Engineering degree with relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of technical manuals, instructions, and standard operating procedures
- Ability to collect, process, and compose reports
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally
