About the role
The Inside Sales Engineer supports the sales team with product sales and conducts water sample testing to determine client needs. This role requires a deep understanding of Filtra-Systems products and expertise in consulting and advising clients.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop an in-depth understanding of products and customer base through mentorship
- Manage bag filter product proposal process, quoting, and sales
- Acquire skills to support e-commerce sales and optimize processes
- Conduct intensive water sample testing to determine client needs
- Interview potential customers to understand their needs
- Use problem-solving and consulting skills to assist customers
- Support spare parts department with responding to client requests
- Stay informed about industry trends and travel as needed
- Lead and participate in trade-show seminars
- Create and perform sales presentations
- Follow up on new opportunities
- Aid in keeping the website and sales media current
- Measure performance based on customer satisfaction
- Maximize personal output by planning daily activities
- Maintain a neat and safe work area
- Report and correct unsafe conditions
- Participate in trade-show seminars
Qualifications
- Chemical Engineering degree with relevant experience or equivalent
- Desire to work in sales
- One (1) year’s relevant experience or equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Self-directed in a lab setting
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Working knowledge of technical manuals and standard operating procedures
- Ability to collect, process, and compose reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Frequent lifting and occasional moving of up to 25 pounds
