About the role

Join Hayes Performance Systems as our Inside Sales & Customer Success Representative and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth and account retention.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, order status requests, and account support needs.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on long-term satisfaction and retention.
  • Manage customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment and delivery.
  • Cook up with production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and other internal teams to support customer requirements.
  • Communicate proactively regarding order status, lead times, delivery schedules, and potential issues.
  • Resolve customer concerns and service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and account information within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Support sales initiatives through quotation follow-up, proposal support, and customer engagement activities.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling, upselling, and new product introductions.
  • Support lead generation and outbound sales activities to develop new business opportunities.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, customer success, or a related role.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
