About the role
Join Hayes Performance Systems as our Inside Sales & Customer Success Representative and play a key role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting business growth and account retention.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for customer inquiries, order status requests, and account support needs.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships focused on long-term satisfaction and retention.
- Manage customer orders from initial inquiry through fulfillment and delivery.
- Cook up with production, engineering, quality, supply chain, and other internal teams to support customer requirements.
- Communicate proactively regarding order status, lead times, delivery schedules, and potential issues.
- Resolve customer concerns and service-related issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate customer records and account information within CRM and ERP systems.
- Support sales initiatives through quotation follow-up, proposal support, and customer engagement activities.
- Identify opportunities to expand existing customer relationships through cross-selling, upselling, and new product introductions.
- Support lead generation and outbound sales activities to develop new business opportunities.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, account management, customer success, or a related role.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
- Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving and relationship-building skills.
