Position Summary
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Drive profitable growth through developing and maintaining contact with all customers in the market area to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Generate and support quotations compliant with technical and commercial accuracies for products and services.
- Develop and maintain customer relationships working in concert with the Outside Sales / Technical Account Lead.
- Work with customers to resolve complaints and answer all technical and non-technical and commercial concerns.
- Stay current on all new and existing products, specifications, bulletins and catalogs / literature of our manufacturers and monitor the status of others operating in the marketplace.
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in the industrial / mining / energy industry and water/wastewater with respect to equipment and system operations related to pumps, valves, motors, flow path equipment and electrical controls.
- Able to present technical merits of a product or engineered solution from maintenance technicians through senior level management.
- Strong familiarity with Microsoft Office programs including skills to navigate web-based literature and programs.
- Strong consideration for with ERP “Sage” operating system.
- Candidate must have strong interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and work across the organization.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Full understanding of pricing and proposal models.
- Able to read and interpret maintenance and repair manuals and electrical / mechanical schematics for use in troubleshooting plant / equipment issues.
- Able to organize and prioritize workload to maximize efficiency.
