About the role
Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues. The ideal candidate will have a passion for sales and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to ensure high-quality building products are provided to customers.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers through effective communication and sales strategies.
- Process various types of customer orders and sales accurately.
- Provide support and product information to the Territory Manager as needed.
- Handle customer inquiries promptly and assist in any way necessary.
- Develop and maintain long-lasting relationships with new buyers.
- Price quote and communicate with customers effectively.
- Manage cash handling and credit functions responsibly.
- Operate a PC and related software to support sales efforts.
- Multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Ability to meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales.
- Professional communication skills (verbal and written).
- Quickly learn and retain knowledge about new products, specialty products, and systems.
- Support and provide product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager.
- Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies.
- Experience in inside sales in a related industry, preferably with bilingual fluency in Spanish and English.
- Ability to obtain and retain new buyers by creating long-lasting relationships.
- Effective at price quoting and follow-up communication.
- Experienced and responsible with cash handling and credit functions.
- Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines.
- Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred Skills
- Bilingual - Fluent in Spanish and English
- 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry
