About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who can build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to provide high-quality building products to customers
  • Build and maintain customer relationships through effective communication and service
  • Process various types of customer orders and sales accurately
  • Provide support and product information to the Territory Manager as needed
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new buyers
  • Handle cash transactions and credit functions responsibly
  • Operate a PC and related software to support sales efforts
  • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor for all interactions
  • Multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Meet expectations set by the Branch Manager and budget
  • Show market awareness and initiative
  • Have professional communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Quickly learn and retain knowledge about new products and systems
  • Support customers with product availability, pricing, and delivery information
  • Have customer sales experience, including cold-calling and telemarketing
  • Reflect a positive and approachable demeanor for all customers and vendors
  • Develop counter and win sales strategies
  • Be able to price quote and communicate effectively
  • Handle cash and credit functions responsibly
  • Operate a PC and related software
  • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors
  • Willing to assist in any way
  • Have aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies
  • Be able to obtain and retain new buyers by creating long-lasting relationships
  • Have experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions
  • Have the ability to operate a PC and related software
  • Maintain a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors
  • Willing to assist in any way

Preferred Skills

  • Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English
  • 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry
