Inside Sales

About the role

Gulfeagle Supply is seeking an Inside Sales representative who can build a career with us. We are a full-line distributor of residential and commercial roofing and building products, serving contractors and homeowners alike.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Territory Manager and Branch Manager to provide high-quality building products to customers
• Strive to deliver excellent customer service and accurately process various types of customer orders and sales
• Meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales
• Develop long-lasting relationships with new buyers
• Create counter and winning sales strategies
• Price quote and communicate effectively with customers
• Handle cash and credit functions responsibly
• Operate a PC and related software
• Multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines

Requirements and Qualifications

• Ability to meet expectations as determined by the Branch Manager and budget as it relates to Branch sales
• Market awareness, job selling, initiative, and job quotes
• Professional communication skills (verbal and written)
• Quickly learn and retain knowledge and awareness of new products, specialty products, and systems
• Support, product availability, pricing, and delivery information to the Territory Manager as needed
• Customer sales experience with cold-calling and/or telemarketing skills
• Reflect a positive and approachable demeanor for all walk-in customers and vendors
• Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies
• Effective at price quoting and follow-up communication
• Able to obtain and retain new buyers by creating long-lasting relationships
• Aptitude for developing counter and winning sales strategies
• Experience and responsibility with cash handling and credit functions
• Ability to operate a PC and related software
• Strong ability to multitask, prioritize, and meet company timelines
• U.S. citizenship or authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred Skills

• Bilingual: Fluent in Spanish and English
• 3+ years inside sales experience in related industry
