Inside Mortgage Banker

About the role

The Federal Savings Bank is expanding its top inside sales team. They are seeking experienced, high-energy call center/consumer direct mortgage bankers to work with bank-provided leads in their new Scottsdale, AZ branch. Cold calling is not required.

Responsibilities

• Work with hot, inbound leads
• Access a wide scope of loan programs and competitive rates
• Cater to veteran homeowners, those seeking government refinancing assistance, and first-time homebuyers
• Manage a high volume of leads effectively
• Take a disciplined approach to lead management
• Interact with individuals across various departments
• Manage time effectively due to the high volume of leads
• Show strong interpersonal communication skills
• Have thorough knowledge of current loan originating guidelines/procedures
• Have favorable credit and background check
• Have the ability to work independently and self-motivate

Requirements

• A minimum of two years of mortgage lending experience in a call center/consumer direct environment
• An active NMLS #
• The ability to manage time effectively due to the high volume of leads
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
• A thorough knowledge of current loan originating guidelines/procedures
• A favorable credit and background check
• A bachelor’s degree preferred, an associates degree required
• Veteran lending experience strongly preferred
