Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth by supporting existing customers and developing new account relationships
- Process orders, quotes, and returns accurately via phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Recommend HVAC/R and filtration products based on customer needs and applications
- Provide technical support and product guidance to customers and team members
- Act as liaison between customers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely fulfillment
- Proactively follow up on quotes and open orders to close sales opportunities
- Support outside sales team with quotes, sourcing, and account development
- Maintain showroom merchandising and ensure product availability
- Aid with inventory tasks including receiving, stocking, and order pulling
- Resolve customer issues quickly and professionally
Qualifications
- HVAC/R, filtration, ventilation, mechanical, construction, industrial supply, building materials, plumbing, electrical, or related industry experience preferred
- Experience working with contractors, tradespeople, maintenance professionals, facilities teams, or construction customers is a plus
- 1–3 years of sales, counter sales, customer service, or distribution experience
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience selling or supporting HVAC, refrigeration systems, fans, ventilation, electrical, plumbing, building materials, tools, or other mechanical products preferred
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Team-first mindset with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach
