Overview
Phoenix Medical Psychiatric Hospital is adding therapists to its growing clinical service team to provide outstanding care to patients and their families during their recovery journey. The therapist will provide daily individual and group counseling, best-in-class treatment planning, and care coordination under the guidance of the Director of Clinical Services.
Responsibilities
- Accountable for overall treatment planning efforts, care conferences with families and providers, family and provider care updates, psychosocial needs and completion.
- Carefully coordinate and facilitate the development of a discharge plan of care for the patient population, including accountability for the complex discharge process.
- Ensure the experience of care for the patient and family is exceptional.
Qualifications
- Education: Master's in Social Work (MSW), Counseling, Psychology, or related human services field is required. LCSW, LPC, or LMHC provisional license is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral healthcare or acute psychiatric setting preferred. Previous experience in an acute in-patient behavioral health hospital a plus.
- Experience developing and administering treatment plans.
- Exceptional communication skills.
