Inpatient Therapist - PRN

What You Will Do in This Role

• Provide Psychotherapy and counseling therapies to patients suffering from psychiatric and substance abuse disorders.
  • Treatments include group, individual and family.
  • Achieve treatment plan goals and document progress.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including physicians, utilization review and nursing staff members.
  • Demonstrate initiative to revise the treatment plan as needed.
• Ensure accurate and timely patient documentation.
• Communicate actively with clients, families, and outside referral sources, adhering to HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant licensure in state of practice.
• Current unencumbered state licensure per state requirements.
• CPR and CPI Certification within 30 days of employment and prior to patient contact.
• Prior work experience with psychiatric and chemical dependency patients.
