Inpatient Technician

About the role

Keystone is a non-profit organization serving the Rock Hill, South Carolina community. We provide comprehensive education, prevention, and treatment programs for individuals and families dealing with alcohol and drug-related challenges. We are seeking two part-time Inpatient Technicians to support our mission-driven team.

Responsibilities

• Maintains observation of patients and reports findings to the nurse in charge, including accurately checking and charting vital signs and encouraging patient participation in family activities.
• Serves as a liaison for outside groups coming into the facility to hold meetings (AA/NA).
• Strict emphasis on maintenance of environmental safety and hygiene including continuous housekeeping chores.
• Professional and courteous telephone etiquette and communications with patients, co-workers, and visitors.
• Adheres to the duties assigned as required by the current billing procedures.
• Attends all mandatory training/licensure and receives an annual TB screening.
• Obtains and remains current with SAS Substance Abuse Specialist certification by obtaining 20 hours of relevant training bi-annually.
• Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates effective basic written and verbal communication skills.
• Possesses foundational knowledge of alcohol and drug use.
• Works collaboratively with colleagues, patients, and visitors.
• Maintains sufficient physical strength to perform the manual tasks required for the position.

Compensation

$15.00 - $16.00 per hour
