About the Role
As a Full-Time Inpatient RN, you will work 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts, including one Saturday a month. The first week of orientation requires Monday – Wednesday, 8-hour shifts. This position qualifies for shift differentials.
The inpatient registered nurse holds a safety-sensitive position and delivers personalized, comprehensive care through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology, and collaboration among patients, families, and healthcare professionals. You will provide leadership to non-licensed staff by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
- Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Provide leadership to non-licensed staff through delegation and coordination of medical-surgical nursing care.
- Demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age-specific.
Requirements
- Current Oklahoma or multi-state RN license.
- Current BLS certification.
- Completion of ACLS certification within 60 days of hire (classes offered at OSH after hire).
- No prior experience required.
