Inpatient Psych Nurse Manager

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations within inpatient behavioral health units. Responsibilities: Hire, train, and evaluate staff; develop staffing plans and budgets; ensure adherence to operational goals. Provide direct patient care aligned with age and developmental needs; create collaborative care plans based on assessments and medical treatments. Oversee staff productivity, conduct performance evaluations, and manage staff communications and scheduling, including overtime and disciplinary actions. Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times. Qualifications & Skills: Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN), RN licensure, and 2+ years of inpatient hospital behavioral health experience. Supervisor experience is preferred, with 5-10 years of related experience highly desirable. Strong leadership, organizational, and safety-conscious skills are essential.
