Inpatient Psych Nurse Manager

Role Overview: This position involves coordinating patient care, managing personnel, maintaining equipment, and overseeing departmental operations in a psychiatric setting. Key Responsibilities: Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.Develop and adhere to staffing, budget, and operational goals, including responding to business needs.Oversee patient care planning, documentation, and implementation based on assessments and medical treatments.Coordinate staff scheduling, overtime, payroll, and communication efforts.Ensure safety protocols are followed to maintain a secure environment for patients and staff. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) required.2+ years RN experience; 5-10 years preferred.RN license required; supervisory experience is preferred.Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism. Additional Details: The role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, full benefits, and involves evening shifts with some management calls.
