Inpatient Physiatry Faculty

About the role

Seeking a full-time Inpatient Physiatry Faculty member to advance inpatient rehabilitation at a leading academic referral center.

Responsibilities

• Provide attending-level inpatient PM&R care on a 16-bed rehabilitation unit
• Evaluate and manage patients with neurologic, musculoskeletal, and complex medical rehabilitation needs
• Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
• Monitor progress and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
• Participate in quality improvement and program development initiatives
• Engage in teaching medical students and residents as appropriate

Requirements

• Strong clinical expertise in inpatient rehabilitation, including neurologic and musculoskeletal conditions
• Ability to develop comprehensive treatment plans and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team
• Interest in academic medicine, teaching, and research
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
