About the Role

This role involves charting and coding patient information using the Epic system. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical records.

Responsibilities

• Accurately chart and code patient information using Epic
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations
• Work closely with healthcare providers to understand and document patient conditions accurately
• Review and update medical records as needed

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare coding
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency with Epic charting system

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
