Job Summary

Aya Healthcare is seeking a Health Info Coder II in Los Angeles, CA. This position offers a competitive salary range of $1787.00 to $2050.00 weekly for a 9-week assignment. Shifts are available from 08:00 - 17:00, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Enter and maintain accurate patient information in the Epic charting system
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations
• Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure proper documentation and coding
• Review and update patient records as needed

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Health Info Coder
• Proficiency in Epic charting system
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Health Information Technician (HIT) or Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

Skills

• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
