Responsibilities

• Review and abstract medical records to ensure accurate coding
• Ensure compliance with healthcare coding standards and regulations
• Enter coded data into the Epic charting system
• Work closely with healthcare providers to clarify coding questions

Requirements

• At least 1 year of healthcare coding experience
• Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT codes
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
