Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' speech, language, voice, and related abilities.
- Create and implement personalized therapy plans based on assessments and patient goals.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on communication or swallowing disorders, prognosis, therapy techniques, and home strategies.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
- Provide direct patient care within scope of practice, supporting positive outcomes and safety.
- Mentor and precept new staff, modeling proficiency in clinical skills.
Qualifications & Skills
- Master’s degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Current certification with the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and clinical skills in a fast-paced environment.
