About the role
The Innovate Program Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the LLC community and the broader campus community. They manage the day-to-day operations of the LLC, including event planning, budget management, and student engagement.
Responsibilities
- Work with Student Affairs on Innovate LLC recruitment and enrollment, program orientation, and extra-curricular event planning and budget management.
- Coordinate with other LLCs to identify joint events and promote LLC’s entrepreneurship programs.
- Collaborate with the Innovate Academic Coordinator to plan events related to the LLC course content.
- Complete required trainings on student support and fiscal functions.
- Prepare monthly reports to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs on Innovate LLC event participation, budget, and program performance.
- Participate in leadership meetings with the Innovate Advisory Board to share program reports and reflections.
- Develop industry partnerships for sponsorships, scholarships, and leadership opportunities for Innovate LLC students.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience.
- Experience with event planning, budgeting, and management.
- Experience working with diverse populations.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to run projects simultaneously with a high degree of creativity and initiative.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
- Experience or interest in higher education administration, student affairs, or related fields.
- Experience in design, development, implementation, and assessment of student programming.
- Experience facilitating trainings, meetings, and curriculum for leaders.
- Experience with Housing & Residence Life.
- Experience with entrepreneurship in business.
- Desire to take initiative in program design and leadership.
- Desire to lead in a responsible way, in line with VT’s Principles of Community and Ut Prosim.
Pay
$44,000 - $48,000 annually.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week.
