Innovate LLC Program Coordinator
The Innovate Program Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the LLC community and the broader university community.
- Works with Student Affairs on Innovate LLC recruitment and enrollment, program orientation, and extra-curricular event planning and budget management.
- Coordinates with other LLCs to identify joint events and promote LLC entrepreneurship programs.
- Collaborates with the Innovate Academic Coordinator to plan events related to the LLC course content.
- Completes required trainings on student support (Title IX and FERPA) and necessary fiscal trainings.
- Provides monthly reports to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs on Innovate LLC event participation, budget updates, and program performance.
- Participates in semesterly leadership meetings, sharing program reports and reflections with the Innovate Advisory Board.
- Develops industry partnerships for sponsorships, scholarships, and leadership opportunities for Innovate LLC students.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
- Experience with event planning, budgeting, and management
- Experience working with diverse populations
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to run projects simultaneously with a high degree of creativity and initiative
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree
- Experience or interest in higher education administration, student affairs, or related field
- Experience in design, development, implementation, and assessment of student programming
- Experience facilitating trainings, meetings, and curriculum for leaders
- Experience with Housing & Residence Life
- Experience with entrepreneurship in business
- Desire to take initiative in program design and leadership
- Desire to lead in a responsible way, in line with VT’s Principles of Community and Ut Prosim
