Innovate LLC Program Coordinator

The Innovate Program Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the LLC community and the broader university community.

• Works with Student Affairs on Innovate LLC recruitment and enrollment, program orientation, and extra-curricular event planning and budget management.
• Coordinates with other LLCs to identify joint events and promote LLC entrepreneurship programs.
• Collaborates with the Innovate Academic Coordinator to plan events related to the LLC course content.
• Completes required trainings on student support (Title IX and FERPA) and necessary fiscal trainings.
• Provides monthly reports to the Associate Dean of Undergraduate Programs on Innovate LLC event participation, budget updates, and program performance.
• Participates in semesterly leadership meetings, sharing program reports and reflections with the Innovate Advisory Board.
• Develops industry partnerships for sponsorships, scholarships, and leadership opportunities for Innovate LLC students.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience
• Experience with event planning, budgeting, and management
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to run projects simultaneously with a high degree of creativity and initiative

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree
• Experience or interest in higher education administration, student affairs, or related field
• Experience in design, development, implementation, and assessment of student programming
• Experience facilitating trainings, meetings, and curriculum for leaders
• Experience with Housing & Residence Life
• Experience with entrepreneurship in business
• Desire to take initiative in program design and leadership
• Desire to lead in a responsible way, in line with VT’s Principles of Community and Ut Prosim

Pay Band: 4 Overtime Status: Non-Exempt: Eligible for overtime Appointment Type: Restricted Salary Information: $44,000 - $48,000 Hours per week: 40 Review Date: July 10, 2026 - open until filled
